SGI Wins Contract Extension with the United States Department of Agriculture

The exercise of such an option is at the sole discretion of the customer, thus, this contract extension was hard earned by the Securiguard Team members who support the USDA! Congratulations to the USDA staff for their well deserved accomplishments!
Delta 4-Heavy Rocket Launch at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station
Posted on: January 17, 2009Cape Canaveral FL, January 17th 2009: Securiguard Security Forces were instrumental in securing the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in support of the safe and successful launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta 4-Heavy Rocket carrying a payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office on January 17th, 2009. The largest of the Delta 4 family of rockets, the Heavy version features three Common Booster Cores mounted together to form a triple-body rocket. For this launch, SGI Security Forces provided extended restricted area security, set up numerous road blocks, and cleared the blast danger/flight caution areas. Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is one of two ranges in the United States that provide unhindered access to space to meet U.S. national security objectives.
