Securiguard awarded a very important DOE contract as part of NSPS Joint Venture.

Securiguard formed a Joint Venture with Triple Canopy, Inc. utilizing Santa Fe Protective Services, Inc. as its subcontractor.  The Joint Venture is National Strategic Protective Services, LLC (NSPS).

On January 17, 2013, The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Oak Ridge Office (ORO) awarded NSPS a Protective Force Services contract in the amount of $181,672,893. The contract period of performance is five years, which includes a three-year base and a two-year option period.

NSPS is responsible for providing Protective Force Services to the East Tennessee Technology Park, the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Joe L. Evins Federal Building, and the balance of the Oak Ridge Reservation, not including the Y-12 National Security Complex.
