Securiguard awarded a very important DOE contract as part of NSPS Joint Venture.

Securiguard formed a Joint Venture with Triple Canopy, Inc. utilizing Santa Fe Protective Services, Inc. as its subcontractor.  The Joint Venture is National Strategic Protective Services, LLC (NSPS).

On January 17, 2013, The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Oak Ridge Office (ORO) awarded NSPS a Protective Force Services contract in the amount of $181,672,893. The contract period of performance is five years, which NSPS_logoincludes a three-year base and a two-year option period.

NSPS is responsible for providing Protective Force Services to the East Tennessee Technology Park, the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Joe L. Evins Federal Building, and the balance of the Oak Ridge Reservation, not including the Y-12 National Security Complex.

DHS releases first preparedness goal for national emergency response

The head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency unveiled the first building block for a national coordinated emergency response plan on Oct. 7.

The preparedness goal is a unified list of identified threats and the kinds of things governments can do to prevent or mitigate them. It is designed to drive local and state emergency response plans, as well as the federal government’s response, providing a common set of considerations and considered response actions. The commonality will allow for better resource allocation and coordination among those government entities, according to DHS.

Securiguard Incorporated (SGI) is re-awarded the Professional Security Officer Contract at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (JFKC)

This earned award demonstrates the exceptional level of security support services and protection that The Kennedy Center has become accustomed to from SGI since 2001.  SGI protects all employees and visitors to the Kennedy Center, including multiple Presidents of the United States and other visiting dignitaries.

This contract including option years is for five (5) years, and includes SGI providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment, required to provide security support to the Kennedy Center as well as plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure the effective performance of all professional Special Police Officer (SPO) and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) services.

SGI Awarded Three Contract Renewals!

Washington, DC, October 1st, 2009: Securiguard is pleased to announce that, during this past quarter, we were privileged to sign three contract renewals! The Naval Submarine Base at Kings Bay GA, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Federal Protective Service will continue their security service with Securiguard. That these clients decided to renew their contracts with Securiguard is a direct reflection on the daily efforts by every single member of the Securiguard Team and, therefore, congratulations are in order for all of the hard work and professionalism you perform each day!

Securiguard Signs a 5 Year Contract with the Library of Congress

Washington, DC, July 1st, 2009: Securiguard is pleased to announce that, during this quarter, we were privileged to sign a 5 year contract with the Library of Congress. This is the third straight Library of Congress contract for our Securiguard Team. We also signed a 2 year contract with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority for Security on the Dulles Toll Road. In addition, we signed four extensions with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV Headquarters, and three Customer Service Center Districts) and the Virginia Housing Development Authority.
